Mickey Mouse Donald Duck Cartoons

Mickey Mouse Donald Duck Cartoons Biography
Michael "Mickey" Mouse is a comic animal cartoon character who has become a symbol for The Walt Disney Company. He was created in 1928 and voiced by Walt Disney[1]. The Walt Disney Company celebrates his birth as November 18, 1928 upon the release of Steamboat Willie[2]. The mouse has evolved from being simply a character in animated cartoons and comic strips to become one of the most recognizable symbols in the world.

Walt Disney voiced Mickey Mouse from 1928 until 1946, when sound effects man James G. MacDonald took over the role. Mickey is currently voiced by Wayne Allwine.

Disney said he got his inspiration from a rodent at his failed Laugh-O-Gram Studio in Kansas City, Missouri which he had nicknamed Mortimer Mouse.
Donald Duck is Mickey Mouse's best friend, and one of the most beloved Disney characters.

Donald's middle name is Fauntleroy.

He first appeared in the cartoon "The Wise Little Hen" in a supporting role, but his popularity grew to become a starring character.

He has a short tempter, and often goes into temper tantrums. However, he has a good heart and a sense of adventure.

He lives in Duckburg with his three nephews, Huey, Louie and Dewey. His uncle is the greedy millionaire Scrooge McDuck. His girlfriend is Daisy Duck.

In "Ducktales", Donald joins the military and thus leaves Duckburg. Hence, the series is focused more on Donald's family and the inhabitants of Duckburg.

In "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", he shares screen time with Daffy Duck, from Disney's rival company, Warner Bros. There, he and Daffy try to perform a piano duet in the Ink and Paint Club, but the combination of Donald's short temper and Daffy's zanyness makes it impossible to happen.

In "House of Mouse", he is in charge of running the nightclub alongside Mickey. His nephews perform as tribute bands of several famous bands.

Donald is a main character in all three "Kingdom Hearts" videogames, appearing as Sora's partner and ally in combat. He helps you fight the enemies with magic. He can combine with Sora to make him stronger. In the world of "The Nightmare Before Christmas", Halloween Town, he becomes a mummy, since only monsters are allowed there. In the world of "The Little Mermaid", Atlantica, he becomes a merduck in order to breathe underwater. In the world of "The Lion King", Pride Lands, he becomes an African bird, since antropomorphisized animnals aren't allowed there. In the world of "Tron", Space Paranoids, he gainsa the blue circuit jumpsuit that everyone dons when they enter the world of Tron.

Donald speaks with a lisp, and is always difficult to understand what he says. This caused a problem in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", where he called Daffy Duck a "nitwit"(through subtitles) , but to some people, sounded like "nigger," but by paying close attention, he says "little."

One of the most popular of the Disney cartoon characters, Donald Duck made his debut in the Silly Symphony cartoon "The Wise Little Hen" on June 9, 1934. His fiery temper endeared him to audiences, and in the 1940s he surpassed Mickey Mouse in the number of cartoons reaching the theaters. Eventually, there were 128 Donald Duck cartoons, but he also appeared in a number of others with Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Pluto. His middle name, shown in a wartime cartoon, is Fauntleroy. The original voice of Donald was Clarence "Ducky" Nash, who was succeeded after 50 years by Disney artist Tony Anselmo. A daily Donald Duck newspaper comic strip began on February 7, 1938.
